Bronner show/ project

Hello my fellow students of cosmstolegy class. Monday we enjoyed our fantastic field trip to the brother bronner show. We saw so many different types of exibits of hair styles and finger styles. We also saw products that are not frequently used throught every day beauty shops and stores. For the people who did not go on the bronner trip, You had to create a salon. Your salon much show a visual of how you would want your salon to be set up if you was to own a shop. The project must be unique, creative, and stands out in your own unique way. For the rest of the week we will be working in our txet book starting on page 439. Chapter 21. Chapter 21 desribes the disorder of the nails and the aspects of nails. fanasty hair and make up

Today all my students did fanasty make up application for the up coming fanasty show. They had a termendous time on experiencing and practicing the uniqueness of make up. All this week we will continue practicing fanasty make up for the fashion show. Friday all the students will create a blue print of the salon. Advance and Freshmen lesson plans starting next week

Hello my fellow students of cosmotolegy.This week my advance students reviewed the history of cosmotolegy such as the careers and opportuntites in cosometolegy, The early orgins of lifestyle and barbaring, The pioneers of modern cosmetology and thier role in its development, The meaning of the latin word " Barbara", History on Madam Cj. Walker, History about cosmetology, and state/ local law based upon cosmetology.

For my freashmen class we have completed roller set, now we are on hairstyling chapter twelve pg 349. In practical workbook its page 48 with questions and answers 1-50. After we complete roller set we will be on finger wave and pin curls. Finger waves and pin curls will start monday. Also we will be practicing for the fashion show next week.

For my advance class we going to start bleaching and lightening. You will learn and demonstrate the components of highlights and the teqniques of hairlightners.

Fashion show Thriller

Hello my students!!!! These are trmendous examples of hairstyles and make up that stands out to the audience and also makes your individual model look very different than others. You are not expected to have your model look just like these individuals but you are expected to have your model look close to these specific models. Notice that the examples i posted on the blog, The models look exotic and different in their own way. This will allow you to make 1st place and become the winner of the fashion show of 2010!!!!!! 4th block thursday we wiil be bringing all the models and stylists for ten to fifteen minutes to analyze the model and their stylist for the fashion show. Facial for the staff/ spiral setting

Hello my cosmetology students!!!!!!!!! Today my advance class practice facial for the upcoming assignment dealing with the staff at pebblebrook highschool. Starting monday my 1st block ( advance class) will start on giving the pebblebrook staff a facial. They would be graded indiviually on the facial that they give. For my freasmen class we are doing spirls setting. Starting monday my freashmen students will come up with new design for the fasion show that would be held on march 26, 2010. Roller setting and facials

Good afternoon my fellow students. Today the advance students open up demonstrations of facials. They demonstrated the parts of a facial analyzing the nerve points of a facial. For my 1st level class , the students practice roller settng and drapeing a minikin. The students did a tremendous job as they presented their artifitial hair work to the class. Monday the class would be assigned a project due at the end of the class period. The students would create a hair book that would enlightened their idea of different styles for the fashion show. This particular assignment would be graded as a project. Color, pictures, neatness, unique, would be your rubric on how i would grade the project as a whole. I would return to school wedsnday and hopefully the project would be ready for me to check and grade . Relevant information about fashion show and ideas

Hello my students of cosmetology. I am very excited about the upcoming fashion show!!!!!!

Today was the comittee meeting about the hair fashion show. My students enlightened me with variety of different ideas about the fashion show. The fashion show would start at 7:30 and ends at 9:30. Pre sale tickets are six dollars in advance and eight dollars at the door. We will be hosting try-outs for entertainment such as singing, dancing, rapping, skits etc.... The try-outs would be held on february 5th 2010. At this moment we have 36 models, i am ACCEPTING the MAXIMUM of 42 models. therefore there are 5 spots availible. Again remember the theme of the fasion show is thriller.
